About Nicola
I’ve been passionate about employee wellbeing since first becoming aware of the idea in the last year of my undergraduate degree around 15 years ago. Since then I have dedicated much of my time and energy to building my knowledge and understanding of the area including completing a PhD in the Management and Promotion of Employee Wellbeing.
In my PhD research, I developed a Strategic Framework that helps businesses appreciate the bigger picture of employee wellbeing within their organisation, enabling them to join the dots between different components of the puzzle, make informed decisions and take meaningful action.
The work I do with businesses is underpinned by a strong foundation in both the financial and human sides of business - alongside my PhD I also have undergraduate and masters degrees in accounting and finance plus several years of practical experience as an organisational culture consultant and a knowledge exchange associate. I have also specialised in research into workplace innovation and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
